Downtown St. Petersburg!

Sense of Place

Downtown St. Petersburg has a strong sense of place, formed by its waterfront park system, distinctive architecture, proximity to the city’s commercial and cultural heart, and history as a walkable urban neighborhood. We wish to build on that sense of place to make downtown an even better neighborhood in which to live, work and play.

Update on the Neighborhood Partnership Grant and the work the association and the Parks Department have done to enhance the northeast corner of Williams Park.
The work on the northeast corner of the park has enhanced the area with a new ADA compliant, pet friendly drinking fountain compliments of our parks department. The new trash/recycle bins are installed. Two pet waste stations in the NE corner and the SW corner are installed and will be stocked by the association. New bushes are planted behind the new wall. Stop by and see the beautiful mural that one of our general members designed to enhance the area. We thank her for donating her time and talents to this project.
We thank the City of St. Petersburg for the opportunity to use matching grant funds for this project
