Treasurer’s Report – Allan Brockway submitted the Treasurer’s Report. Andrew Scherman moved to accept the report as submitted.

Election Committee – Marie Stirling and Richard Freeburg will assist Allan Brockway on the Election Committee for the 2005 DNA Board. A majority of current Board members have agreed to run for reelection in 2005.
Membership – we will do a December DNA membership solicitation mailing targeting “ownership” buildings. Additionally, we discussed the possibility of having business memberships, i.e. a “sponsoring business” and a “sponsoring advertiser”. Business members would not be voting members. Andrew Scherman moved that we accept business memberships as outlined by Tim Baker. Diane Drutowski seconded the motion. The motion passed unanimously. Marie Stirling agreed to chair the business membership campaign.
Courtyard Tour – The Fall Courtyard Tour was a smashing success thanks to the leadership of Sydni Shollenberger. We had 55 paid tickets resulting in $1,100.00 profit allowing us to donate $250.00 to three different local charities. We discussed the possibilities of next year’s tour focusing on high rise rooftops. We will need more committee members due to the many logistics. There was agreement that we move the date to November to accommodate the return of seasonal residents.
Planning – Grady Pridgen project located on 3rd Ave N between 2nd and 3rd St N. The current plan is for this new high rise to be 30 stories. It appears it may receive City approval. Andrew Scherman moved to authorize DNA President, Tim Baker, to represent the DNA at the Environmental Development Commission (EDC) hearing at which time the Pridgen project will be discussed. Marie Stirling seconded the motion. A discussion was held to further clarify Tim Baker’s role at the EDC meeting. A vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously.
Social – New Year’s Eve Galactic Shuffleboard. The DNA has agreed to sponsor the shuffleboard event again this New Year’s Eve from 7-11 p.m. The following members agreed to volunteer for the evening with the request that we have shifts so everyone can participate in the various activities throughout the City; Allan Brockway, Diane Drutowski, Andrew Scherman, Tim Baker.
