DOWNTOWN NEIGHBORHOOD ASSOCIATION ANNUAL MEETING January 13, 2005 Tim Baker, President, called the meeting to order at 7:15 p.m.
Andrew Scherman made a motion to rename the Sunshine Center auditorium after Marti Frappier, the recently deceased director of the Center. Sioux Yoke seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion was passed unanimously. Tim Baker will prepare a letter asking City Council member, Virginal Littrrell, to take our motion forward.
Tim Baker provided an update to the attendees on the major events and focus of DNA in 2004.
Elections were held for the 2005 DNA Board of Directors. Dave Egbert made a motion to pass the 2005 DNA slate of Board members. Bill Morrison seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously. Elected were Tim, Baker, Allan Brockway, Peggy Spoor, Tim Clemmons, John Harte, Richard Lane, Marie Stirling, Joe Pugliano, Diane Drutowski, Richard Freeburg, Duane Roberts and Andrew Scherman.
Bob Jeffrey, Manager of Urban Design, delivered a presentation on new zoning for downtown entitled “Downtown Land Development Regulations”.
The new DNA Board had a brief meeting at the end of the presentation to elect officers for 2005. Andrew Scherman motioned for Peggy Spoor to be DNA Secretary for 2005. Tim Baker seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously. Tim Clemmons motioned for Allan Brockway for Treasurer. Peggy Spoor seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously. Allan Brockway motioned for Tim Baker for President. Peggy Spoor seconded the motion. A vote was taken and the motion passed unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
